Youth, Youth, and More Youth!

The Abundant Life Christian Center has been blessed with an abundant youth membership! The teens are the majority in this small church and we believe we will continue to have a large youth membership. Our children are extremely important to us and we are developing them slowly in the word of God. They participate heavily in our church functions and we are equipping them to do the Lord's work. All of our youth are apart of God's Younger Messengers, their praise team. They also develope some of their own praise dances. We are very excited about Sis. Herticene Ware and Sis. Tonya Dixon's work with them.

Sis. Helen & Sons, Jeremy and Oliver Sis. Helen is our adult praise director. She is also a founding member.	Bro. Thomas is pictured here with the other "T's", Tammie, Thomas, & Thoine...Tristan & Jeremy are M.I.A's.
These are hard working ladies taking a rest from the garage sale where they earned a few hundred dollars! The youth team headed by Sis. Herticene gathered items for the garage sale and manned the post until it's closure. They helped organize and make the sales. As a result of their hard work, they earned a few hundred dollars and were taken to Celebration Station! Sis. Herticene and her assistant Sis. Tonya were pleased with the outcome. I'm sure they have many funny stories to tell about the sale, as well as, the reward trip to Celebration Station! Bro. John deserves a big "Hurrah" for opening his home to the youth for an overnite organizing party! Not many men are daring enough to have a house full of teens!
Oliver is airing a basketball! Oliver aired the baskeball during a much needed break at the garage sale. The guys & gals had a quick pickup game and believe it or not Sis. Herticene "got game!" She matched up well with her competition and even blocked a few shots I'm told. There were pictures, but they misteriously disappeared. No one in her household has come forward with the missing shots!
Our Youth Activities The youth are busy as usual. They are developing a new praise dance in which they sign. That is, they do sign language. It is a joy to watch them prepare for this purformance! Pastor Crane has formed a drama team and many of our older youth have come aboard! I'm sure God will bless this endeavor also. Everyone is so excited about their involvment. They are in our prayers!
