Prayer
Learning to Pray: Praying always with all prayer and
supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all
perserverance and supplication for all saints (Ephesians
6:18)
Prayer:
Praise waits for you, O God, in Zion,
and unto you shall all my vows be performed. You are the One
who hears my prayers, and unto you shall all flesh come. I
come to you, Father, with the request, "Teach me to
pray."
Lord Jesus, when your disciples asked
you to help them to learn to pray, you gave the perfect
example of the life of prayer. You prayed without ceasing and
you brought all your request before the Father I thank you for
the direct-line access I now how to you, Father through my
Lord Jesus Christ. He is the one mediator between you and me
and because He obeyed you even unto death, I now have access
to you through prayer. I thank you, Father, for the fellowship
I can have with you and with your Son, Jesus Christ. I know
you hear my prayers, Lord. Because I know you hear me, I have
confidence that I will receive the petitions I have asked of
you. You want me to humble myself and pray and seek your face
and turn from my wicked ways. This I want to do Lord, and I
thank you that you hear me from heaven, as I repent before you
in humility to receive your cleansing, refreshing, and
fellowship.
I give myself to a life of prayer, because I know that so many
things are accomplished through prayer. I am thankful that the
prayer of the upright is your delight, O Lord. Without any
anxiety, therefore, I make my requests known unto you in
everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving.
Your Word is filled with so many
precious prayer promises. I thank you, Lord, that as I
meditate on those promises and pray your Word and will, your
Word will not return unto you void. It will accomplish your
pruposes.
It is through prayer that I get to know you, Lord, and all my
heart's desire is to know you better, for to know you in the
right way is eternal life and in your presence is fullness of
joy and pleasures forever more. Amen.
This prayer is a special prayer given to
Pastor Crane by the Holy Spirit:
Lord, I thank for the armor you have provided for my protection.
Help me to wear it daily and never to forget to put on a single
piece of your protective gear. Each day, Lord, I will remember to
put on the whole armor of God: to gird my loins with your truth and
wear the breastplate of your righteousness; to shod my feet with the
preparation of the gospel of peace and buckle the shield of faith to
my forearm; to place on my head the helmet of salvation and take up
the sword of the Spirit (the Word of God), praying perseverence and
supplication for all saints.
Give me a clear sense concerning the spiritual warfare to which
you've called me. I realize the cunning craftiness of the enemy,
Lord, and I desire to be prepared and equipped to stand against him
in faith and power. Help me always to remember, Lord, that I am not
wrestling against flesh and blood, but against principalities,
powers, the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual
wickedness in high places. For these reasons, I need to equip myself
each day, Lord, with your armor. Thank you for fighting for me and
protecting me.
I will be sober and vigilant, Lord, while wearing your armor,
because my adversary, the devil, walks about as a roaring lion,
seeking whom he may devour. I resist him in faith of your Word,
Lord. I thank you that Satan is a defeated foe.
I thank you for your protection, Lord. I do not have to engage in
spiritual warfare in the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are
not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of
strongholds. Through your power I will cast down imaginations, and
every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God,
and I will bring every thought into captivity to obedience to you,
Lord.
Father, I will endure hardship as a good
soldier and will not entangle myself with the affairs of this life,
so that I may please you, who have armed me with your mighty armor
and chosen me to be a soldier in your spiritual army. I gladly wear
the whole armor you've given me in Jesus' name, Amen.

"Bring ye all the tithes into the
storehouse, that there may be
meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of
host, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven,
and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough
to receive it. (Malachi 3:10)
Prayer:
Heavenly Father, you are greater than I can possibly imagine and
greatly to be praised.(Psalms48:1) I praise you for your goodness
and faithfulness to me. I know you desire to bless me more than I
can realize, but I also know the key to that blessing is to be found
in obedience to the teachings of your Word. Help me to obey you in
the area of my finances, Lord, so that I might become a good steward
over all you've given to me.
Father, help me understand that in your economy, resources are meant
to flow freely from the place of excess to the place of
need.(2Cor.8:14) Lord, you give power to obtain wealth for a purpose
that you may establish your covenant of salvation through
me.(Deu.8:18)
I choose to believe your Word, Lord, and I believe that as I obey
you with my tithes and offerings you will mercifully fulfill your
promises and open the windows of Heaven and pour your blessings
forth abundantly to me. I believe also that you will prevent the
enemy from devouring my finances and I will be called blessed by
those who see your goodness to me.
I choose to give out of a heart of love and obedience, knowing it is
more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts20:35) Yet I know, Lord,
that as I give it will be given to me in good measure pressed down
and running over. For with the same measure that I give, it will be
given to me. (Luke6:38) This is your plan, Lord, and I willingly
honor it with cheerful giving as you supply, for you are able to
make all grace abound toward me for every good work. (2Cor.9:7,8)
You have commanded me not to owe any man
anything except to love him. (Romans13:8) Help me, Lord, to manage
my financial resources better so that I will get out from under the
load of debt (Proverb22:7) and be freed to serve you more fully and
to give to the important causes of your kingdom.
Lord, godliness with contentment is great gain in my life. I brought
nothing into this world and it is certain that I will take nothing
out. (1Tim.6:6-10) Therefore, let me learn to be content in
whatsoever state I am. (Philippians4:11-13) Instead of seeking after
the things of this world, (Colossians3:1,2) I
want your righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience and
meekness. As I learn to seek you and your kingdom purposes first,
along with your righteousness, all other things will be added unto
me. (Matthew6:31-34)
The things that are seen, O Lord, are
temporal, but the things that are unseen are eternal.
(2Cor.4:18)Help me to fix my focus on that which is eternal, and to
lay up treasures in Heaven where moth and rust cannot corrupt and
the enemy cannot steal. ( Matthew6:19-21)Your are my Lord; I have
been bought with the price of your shed blood; I am no longer my
own, but all I am and have are yours. (1Cor.6:19,20)Give me wisdom,
Lord, (James1:5)so that I will be able to get my finances in order
under your Lordship. Amen.
